July Membership Luncheon

Event Description

Registration is open for the FWAPL Member Luncheon on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:30 am at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club.  Please come and welcome T.C. Turner of Buckley & Turner, PLLC for a presentation titled "An Overview of New Mexico Oil and Gas Law."

T. C. Turner is a native Midlander, a reluctant Houstonian, a proud Texas Longhorn and a founding partner of Buckley & Turner, PLLC. He is licensed in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico and is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the AAPL’s Publications Committee, serves on the Houston Association of Professional Landmen’s Louisiana Social Committee, and is a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association. An active writer, he maintains a general interest oil and gas blog at www.buckleyturner.com/blog. When not in the office, T. C. can be found performing stand up title examinations in far West Texas and Eastern New Mexico or fly fishing in Louisiana, Colorado and Montana. He can be reached at tc.turner@buckleyturner.com.

In addition to the presentation, we will also be awarding our beneficiaries below a portion of the profits from this years golf tournament. 

Cowtown Warriors - A local organization that benefits wounded veterans. Cowtown Warriors is comprised of 100 percent volunteers, our vision is "To be the premier all volunteer, non-profit, veterans support organization in North Texas providing quality of life assistance to our wounded veterans in need."

Center for Transforming Lives - A local charity providing anti-poverty programs for women and children in Tarrant County. Here is their Mission and History from their website: For 110 years, the organization now known as the Center for Transforming Lives (CTL) has provided anti-poverty programs for women and children in Tarrant County. It was founded in 1907 as the first YWCA™ in Texas serving as a boarding house for poor women, expanded to include child care for working mothers in the 1930s, and in 2015 changed its name from the YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County to the Center for Transforming Lives to more clearly articulate its mission.
