Join us for the FWAPL October Member Luncheon on Thursday October 21, 2021 at the Fort Worth Club.
Paul B. Westbrook will be discussing "Force Majeure: A Desperate Measure for Desperate Times."
Paul is an experienced and practical Oil and Gas lawyer. He has represented clients in a variety of aspects of Oil and Gas Law during his 24-year career. His current energy practice includes an array of oil and gas issues, including title examination, acquisitions and divestitures, due diligence, exploration, production, development, operations, and regulatory issues, as well as Oil and Gas litigation in a variety of contexts and jurisdictions. He has experience involving lease and mineral interest disputes, operating agreements, participation agreements, farmouts, areas of mutual interest, easements, pooling and unitization issues and disputes, royalty disputes, and compulsory unitization proceedings, among others.
Paul has proudly worked at Harris, Finley & Bogle, P.C. in Fort Worth since 1997 and has been privileged to learn the practice of law from the late Charlie Harris (1928-2018) and the fine team of Oil and Gas lawyers also mentored by Charlie at the firm. Paul is licensed and actively practices in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Paul earned his Juris Doctorate degree at Baylor University (cum laude) in 1997 and his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting (cum laude) at The University of Texas at Arlington in 1994.
